I am just so happy with the results from my new Contax 645 medium format film camera. Yip, film. I haven’t shot with film since my first B-Tech photography course ten years ago. I have been in L.O.V.E with some of the amazing film-only-wedding-photographers including Jose Villa, Elizabeth Messina, Leo Patrone, Polly Alexandre and Film Is Not Dead pioneer Jonathan Canlas. Again and again the people’s work I am drawn to tends to be those shooting with film. I have the FIND aka Film is Not Dead e book and I have Jose Villa’s book which outlines everything about his wedding photography business from marketing to posing to… you guessed it – shooting film!

Craig and I are so blessed to have a beautiful vineyard on our doorstep here in Dorking, Surrey. We took the medium format camera out during the lovely warm spurt not too long ago and these are the gorgeous, creamy-bokeh, buttery smooth but still tack sharp results.

And the best part? These are straight out of camera!
