Jingge and Song are getting married in Bejing and wanted a pre-wedding engagement session in London. This is part one, as we also did a shoot with them down in Bath where they both live. In the Chinese culture it is common to get dressed up in full wedding gear and have pre-wedding photo shoots at various locations before the actual wedding day – a bit like post wedding Shoot The Dress sessions that are proving popular in the West. The pictures are then displayed at the Chinese wedding reception either in an album or slide-show format for all the friends and relatives to see. We had a wonderful day with the couple and where blessed with a rain free day that lasted from our morning London shoot all the way until the sunset shots around Bath.
