If you happen to recognise a few faces in the coverage of this wedding, you are not mistaken. Craig Moca was best man at Jen & Dom’s wedding that we shot in Mauritius. Just before he popped the question to the lovely Penny, he contacted me to tell me of his plans and to continue the new tradition amongst his friends of having a destination wedding on a tropical island. This time the island of choice was to be Bali in Indonesia. I cannot tell you how excited we have been for this wedding over the past year. Bali has been very high up on our wish list for some time now. Craig, my husband, loves to surf and Bali is a bit of a Mecca for surfers who travel from all ends of the earth to enjoy the long lines of perfect barrels… So, needless to say we decided to extend our stay and make the most of it. Our trip lasted 20 days and I am still getting back into the swing of things here in the UK. I am happy to report that it is lovely and sunny at the moment so the transition doesn’t feel so bad!
Penny has that infectious type of laughter that gets everyone going. She truly has the most gorgeous, throw your head back and laugh type smile. Craig and Penny live in Melbourne, Australia and so Bali was a good choice for their beach wedding. A semi-central point for their friends and family to travel to from South Africa, America, Australia and the UK. The most important thing to this couple was to have their closest friends and family members with them for a week to celebrate their marriage and to have that quality time together.
I think this was achieved perfectly.
