The pretty pink pallet of Peggy Porschen’s Parlour in Belgravia was the perfect setting for one of my best friend’s baby shower tea party. Vicky had a big shower thrown for her in New Zealand when she was home in December but I thought it would be nice to surprize her with a little party here in the UK too. I told her to meet me at Sloan Square station on Sunday afternoon and fabricated a story about the fact that I had just met with a wedding planner who had recommend that we have tea at a lovely little place in the area. I picked her up in an old London cab and she admitted afterwards that she almost expected the planner to be in the taxi with me!
Peggy Porschen’s Parlour offer a private room for up to ten people to have an intimate tea party. It is their tasting room in fact. Peggy creates the most spectacularly detailed cakes and last year she created the wedding cake for Kate Moss. Being in the wedding industry really exposes you to some of the most talented people and it was fun to share this with my ladies!
