Tifannie and James live in the States and visit the UK a lot in order to spend time with Jame’s family. Tifannie is from Atlanta, Georgia and has the perfect southern accent. Love it! We had the most gorgeous light last week for the perfect winter London engagement session.

Pre Wedding Blues

I love shooting couples like David and Kiki. Enthusiastic about the day from the off. It makes my job as photographer so much more the pleasure when a couple are exited about the pictures being taken of them. Did I mention what a cute couple they make as well. Living in Los Angeles, David is an avid Chelsea Football supporter and absolutely loves London. So much so that an annual visit to London is always on the cards. During David’s first visit to London, at the tender age of 11, he attended a Chelsea game and has been addicted ever since. It was during his introduction to Chelsea Football Club that he had an epiphany of having his picture taken with his bride at Stamford Bridge. Luckily Kiki is fond of the club as well and endured some early winter temperatures through some iconic parts of London with a smile on her face.

Vineyard Engagement

Maria and Ivan are getting married out in Italy this month but wanted an engagement session done before they flew out. We have now shot a few things for this family from weddings to newborns and now a pre wedding shoot! Denbies Vineyard is about 5 mins away from where we live and really is such a gorgeous location for a portrait session. In the late afternoon I just love the way the golden light shines through the vines.

Zoe and Carl’s Engagement

Zoe & Carl live out in Hong Kong and had already booked us to shoot their wedding. They had planned a trip out to the UK recently to visit family and spend some time planning the wedding. Engagement shoots are a great way for us to get to know our couples and give them a chance to experience being photographed by us. We met with Zoe & Carl at her parents home and did the shoot around and about the lovely garden.

Fareen & Saadi picked Battersea Park in London for their pre wedding engagement session. It really is the perfect location in London as it doesn’t have the hoards of tourists like Hyde Park. I loved the gorgeous light of the late afternoon to early evening. We cannot wait to shoot their wedding at Botleys Mansion in July.

Cambridge Pre Wedding

Cecilia contacted me a few days before we were due to fly to Bali to cover a destination wedding. We squeezed in their pre wedding engagement session in Cambridge, and boy am I glad that we did. I just love the cute and quirky style of this couple who both studied in the town. We did a second outfit change with the couple which I will follow this blog post with.

PS Bali was uber fantastic!

We love doing pre wedding engagement sessions and this spring time shoot that Craig did up in London was no exception. The couple have such a cute, quirky style and the colours played off each other perfectly. It is really important to think about the styling when it comes to doing pre wedding shoots and also to preferably have professional hair & make-up done on the day.
