Last night we had the perfect excuse to dress up and let our hair down a bit. After shooting 5 weddings in March, including a destination wedding in Marrakech, as well as a London pre wedding engagement session and a newborn shoot – lets just say it’s been post production a go-go here at Segerius Bruce Towers! It is so important to network with fellow wedding industry people in real life as well as online. A lot of people who attended are photographers, planners, florists and so on who we know on Facebook and Twitter. It is great to put the real voices to the Tweets, so to speak!
I also got the chance to catch up with some old friends. I met Kat around 2 and a half years ago when we where both fairly new to all of this and it has been great watching how ROCK N ROLL BRIDE has grown so much. The first party had about 6 of us and last night there where 200 people in attendance! 500 had actually applied for tickets but Kat had to cap it due to the capacity of the venue. Looks like a bigger one may be in order for the next one.
So nice to see so many of you and sorry we didn’t get to chat to more.
Me with the famous… or is that infamous 😉 Kat AKA ROCK N ROLL BRIDE
Craig chatting with LISA DEVLIN who was the winner of BJP’s Wedding Photographer of the year!
Me hanging with LARA JADE, who I have been following for the past 6 years. Her first work was a huge phenomenon on Flickr with a serious of dark, intriguing self portraits.
Craig with Jordon Banks (cool name man, cool name!) of SOURCE IMAGES – Sorry, the other shot came out blurred Jordon, so I went with the funny face instead!
Me with the gorgeous and glowing JULIA BOGGIO, be sure to visit her new pregnancy & baby blog I CARRIED A WATERMELON, which was designed by Dominic who did our site. He is a genius!
My turn to chat to LISA DEVLIN all bout her bridal blogger shoot where she got to use the beast of a camera – a Hasselblad. Nice one.
The other super glam half of SOURCE IMAGES and me
This was us on the way to the party. We got stuck in the joy’s of London traffic. Oh well.
