We all love a good story, and the story of Dylan and Andrea is a great one.  Andrea was in the process of making plans to join her parents in Atlanta, Georgia before meeting Dylan for breakfast for the first time.  It was never supposed to develop into anything serious, but the heart wants what it wants and Dylan also knew what he wanted.  The future was already planned however, and it involved a flight across the Atlantic to America for Andrea.  After spending time together and doing some soul searching, they both realised that what they have is something special and worth preserving.  They soon moved in together and haven’t been apart since, enjoying new experiences and being a family.

St Francis is a special place for Dylan and Andrea.  Dylan has been coming to the St Francis Links for many years, so it was an obvious choice as a wedding destination.  St Francis is always a great venue.  It really is blessed with a variety of beautiful beaches.  From wide open spaces to small rocky outcrops, you are literally spoilt for choice.  Planning a beach wedding though takes guts.  Along the shores of the Eastern Cape we are open to the elements, with wind being the most dominant of these.  Days before the wedding we experienced biblical type winds.  My second photographer, Ernst had to rescue his trampoline from the roof of his house, just to give you an idea.  The forecast looked good though and we enjoyed a beautiful ceremony on the beach with a cool on shore wind to keep us comfortable.
