Segerius Bruce Photography are a husband and wife team known for their atmospheric story telling account of the wedding day and are active members of the Wedding Photojournalist Association.
With a background in graphic design and currently retouching on a freelance basis for top fashion photographer, Mario Testino, Chanelle has her finger firmly on the fashion pulse and has finessed many celebrity images appearing in glossy magazines the world over. Originally from South Africa, Chanelle & Craig have made leafy Surrey, England their home for the past decade.
Chanelle studied a B-Tech in film photography in 2001 using a fully manual Pentax MZM and getting her hands dirty in the darkroom. Both now fully embrace digital and work together seamlessly covering the wedding from all angles.
Over the past two and a half years Chanelle & Craig have been shooting weddings, after previously second shooting with a number of established wedding photographers to gain the necessary experience. They are now in demand for both UK and International events and have been flown to Cyprus, Prague and Mauritius as well as covering weddings in South Africa, with three recently shot in the month of April 2010 including a wedding near Cape Town as well as one in Tala Game Reserve.
Having been published in a number of monthly photography magazines including Professional Photographer and Photo Pro as well as wedding publications including You & Your Wedding, Perfect Wedding, UK Cosmopolitan Bride, China Cosmopolitan Bride and Your Surrey Wedding Magazine, Chanelle won the accolade of Digital Portrait Photographer of The Year in 2007 & 2008 through Digital Photographer Magazine.
Segerius Bruce Photography specialise in shooting Weddings as well as doing beautiful Pre-Wedding Engagement / Post-Wedding Shoots in the UK and abroad.
Chanelle & Craig tied the knot two and half years ago in a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the Natal Midlands, South Africa.
The bride wore a vintage inspired gown by Jenny Packham called Honeybee. The theme was Chocolate Brown with Green Orchids. It was a relaxed affair with friends and family from all over the world who where entertained by a 7 piece band, The Hairy Legged Lentil Eaters! The photography was obviously very high on the list of priorities and the day began with the creative bridal preps in a forest and ended with a Next Day Shoot the following morning.
